Airfair Flugservice GmbH (referred to hereafter as Airfair), as the provider of the website www.airfair.de and the data controller, takes data protection very seriously and has designed its website in such a way that as little personal data as necessary is collected, processed and used. Under no circumstances will personal data be provided to or sold to third parties for advertising purposes. No personal data will be used for advertising or marketing purposes without the visitor's express consent.

At Airfair, only those persons have access to personal data who need the data for the performance of their duties within the data controller, who are informed about the legal provisions on data protection and who have committed themselves to comply with them in accordance with the applicable legal provisions (Art. 5 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). In accordance with Art. 6 (1) EU GDPR, the collection, processing, use and transfer of personal data collected is carried out only to the extent necessary for the execution of a contractual relationship between Airfair, as the data controller, and the visitor, as the party concerned. 

  

As a result of technological improvements and organisational changes in the processing methods used, we reserve the right to make changes to this data protection statement to conform with new technical conditions. We therefore ask you to check Airfair's privacy policy from time to time. If you do not agree with the changes made over time, in accordance with Art. 17 EU GDPR, you can request in writing that any data is deleted which is not stored according to other legal requirements, such as commercial law or fiscal obligations of retention.

Anonymous data collection.

You can visit the Airfair website without us knowing who you are. We will only know the name of your internet service provider, the website via which you found the site, and the pages you visit while on our site. This information is used for statistical purposes. You as an individual user remain anonymous.

Collection and processing of personal data.

Personal data is only collected if you provide it voluntarily, for example when registering for the newsletter. Airfair will comply with the requirements of Art. 5 and 6 of the EU GDPR. As part of Airfair’s personalized service, your registration data will be processed, subject to your consent, for the purposes of sending you our newsletter and to help the design of our electronic services. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the storage of your personal data at any time. To do this, please send an email to with the subject text "unregister databases". 

The processing and use of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the EU GDPR.

Export and processing of data to countries outside the European Economic Area.

There is no export of data to countries outside the EEA. Nevertheless, if you are logged into Facebook, personal data may be exported to the USA. For further explanation and to avoid this data export, please read the section Use of Facebook Social Plugins in this data protection policy.  
 
In the context of Airfair's use of analytics programs, your personal data is not transferred to Google because your IP address is only transmitted anonymously. (Please read the section Use of analysis programs in this data protection policy).

Use and disclosure of personal data.

Personal data that is collected during use of the Airfair website is strictly used only for contract execution and the handling of your requests. In addition, we only use your data for advertising and market research needs and to help design Airfair’s electronic services with your consent. The use of your personal data for the delivery of tailored advertising is also subject to your consent. Since consent to the use of your data for the aforementioned purposes may involve the transfer of your data to other companies of the AERTiCKET Group (with which Airfair Flugservice GmbH is associated within the meaning of § 15 AktG) and to the AERTiCKET partners you have selected, your data may also be passed on to these parties. The data is not passed on to other third parties. Your consent can of course be withdrawn at any time.

For your information, some of our pages contain links to other sites. Where this is not obvious, we would like to point out that these are external links. Airfair has no influence over the content or design of the sites of other providers. Therefore, the guarantees provided in this data protection statement do not apply to these external links.

Use of Cookies.

Airfair uses cookies to help to optimise and improve customers’ online experience.

A cookie is a text file that is either temporarily stored in the computer memory (session cookie) or stored on the hard disk (persistent cookie). Cookies contain e.g. information about previous requests by the user on our server or information about which offers have been accessed. Cookies are not used to run programs or load viruses on to your computer. The main purpose of cookies is to provide the customer with as comfortable a service as possible.

Airfair uses session cookies and persistent cookies. 

Session Cookies.
Airfair mostly uses session cookies, which are not stored on the customers’ hard drive and are deleted when the browser session is ended. Session cookies are used here for login authentication and for balancing the system load.

Persistent Cookies.
In order to personalise and improve the service, the Airfair website also uses persistent cookies to store the personal settings that the individual customer enters when using the services offered by Airfair. Through the use of persistent cookies, your personal settings for the website are activated by login. In addition, the service providers contracted by Airfair to provide analysis of user behaviour use persistent cookies to recognize returning users. These services only store the data transmitted by the cookie anonymously. There is no assignment to the IP address of the customer. 

Avoidance of cookies.
The customer always has the option of rejecting the cookie settings. This is usually done by selecting the appropriate option in your browser settings or additional programs. Further details can be found in the help function of the browser the customer is using. If the customer decides to reject the use of cookies, this can reduce the range of services provided by Airfair and have a noticeable negative impact on the use of services.

Analysis of customers’ use of Airfair services is carried out by Airfair or by its trusted partners. Anonymous or pseudonym user profiles are created for the sole purpose of constantly improving Airfair’s services.

Airfair uses in the web analytics, Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"), whereby Airfair Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp ()" switch, which only processes IP addresses in a shortened form to exclude a direct person relatablity.
